About Virexa
What is Virexa?
Virexa is a 100% remote technology school by Datakript Teknologies. We run live, project-based programmes in software engineering, data, AI and cloud.
Are the programmes fully online?
Yes. Every part of the programme, from classes and projects to mentoring and career preparation, happens online, so you can learn from anywhere.
Are classes live or pre-recorded?
Classes are live and interactive, led by experienced instructors. Sessions are recorded so you can catch up if you miss one or want to review a topic.
Choosing a programme
Do I need prior experience?
Not for Technology Foundations, Full-Stack Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Frontend Engineering or Software Testing & QA Automation. Backend Engineering, Mobile App Development, Cloud & DevOps Engineering and AI Engineering for Developers expect some programming experience; each programme page lists its requirements.
Which programme should I choose?
If you are new to tech, start with Technology Foundations. If you want to become a software engineer, choose Full-Stack Software Engineering, our flagship programme. If you enjoy working with numbers and business questions, choose Data Analytics. Still unsure? Email us and we will help.
What do I need to take part?
A laptop or desktop computer (8 GB of RAM is recommended for software programmes), a reliable internet connection, a quiet place for live classes, and the weekly time listed on the programme page — usually 8 to 20 hours a week.
Can I study while working full-time?
Yes. Many learners study alongside a job or university. Check the weekly hours on the programme page and make sure you can commit to them for the whole programme.
Applying
How do I apply?
Choose a programme that is open for applications and select Apply Now. You create an applicant account, complete a short form, and then follow your application from your dashboard. See How It Works for every step.
Is there an application fee?
No. Applying to Virexa is free.
How are applications assessed?
Our admissions team reviews your application and may invite you to a short online conversation. We look for motivation, commitment and the time and equipment to take part, not existing technical skills (unless the programme requires them).
When does the next cohort start?
Each programme page shows its admissions status and, when it is set, the start date of the next cohort. Spaces in each cohort are limited.
Tuition and payment
How much does a programme cost?
Tuition is listed on each programme page in Naira, with a US dollar price for learners outside Nigeria. Current founding prices start from ₦80,000 for Technology Foundations; Full-Stack Software Engineering is ₦400,000 and Data Analytics is ₦250,000.
What is a founding price?
Founding prices are introductory tuition for our first cohorts. They may increase for later cohorts; the price in your offer is the price you pay.
How do I pay?
After you accept an offer, you pay securely online through Paystack from your applicant dashboard. Your offer shows the exact amount and currency.
After the programme
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes. Learners who complete the programme requirements, including the required projects, receive a Virexa certificate of completion issued by Datakript Teknologies.
Do you help with jobs?
Career preparation is part of every programme: career guidance, CV and portfolio reviews, and interview practice. We do not guarantee employment, but we prepare you to compete for roles with confidence.
