About This Program

Full-Stack Software Engineering is Virexa’s flagship programme: six months of live, instructor-led training that takes you from programming fundamentals to building, testing and deploying complete web applications.

You learn the stack used by many modern product teams — JavaScript and TypeScript, React, Node.js, SQL databases, Git and the cloud — and you practise working like an engineer on a team: code reviews, pull requests, testing and agile delivery. You finish with a portfolio of projects and a capstone application you can show employers.

What You’ll Learn

  • Write clean, modern JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Build responsive, accessible interfaces with HTML, CSS and React
  • Design and build REST APIs with Node.js and Express
  • Model data and write queries for PostgreSQL
  • Add authentication and secure an application
  • Write automated tests for front-end and back-end code
  • Collaborate with Git, pull requests and code review
  • Deploy applications to the cloud with CI/CD
