  • Live online classes
  • For developers
  • Build and ship AI apps

About This Program

AI Engineering for Developers is a three-month, live online programme for developers who want to build useful, reliable AI features: chat assistants, document search, automation agents and more, and to measure whether they actually work.

What You’ll Learn

  • Understand how large language models work and where they fail
  • Design effective prompts and structured outputs
  • Build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over your own documents
  • Give models tools and build simple agents
  • Evaluate, monitor and control cost and quality
  • Deploy an AI application responsibly

Curriculum

  1. Module 1 Module 1: Foundations (weeks 1–3) 3 topics
    • How LLMs work
    • Using AI APIs from Python
    • Prompting and structured output
  2. Module 2 Module 2: Retrieval (weeks 4–6) 3 topics
    • Embeddings and vector search
    • Building a RAG pipeline
    • Chunking, ranking and citations
  3. Module 3 Module 3: Tools and agents (weeks 7–9) 3 topics
    • Tool use and function calling
    • Agent loops
    • Safety and guardrails
  4. Module 4 Module 4: Production and capstone (weeks 10–13) 3 topics
    • Evaluation and testing
    • Cost, latency and monitoring
    • Capstone AI application

What You’ll Build

  • A document question-answering assistant with citations
  • An agent that automates a multi-step task with tools
  • A deployed capstone AI application with an evaluation suite

Career Outcomes

  • AI Engineer (junior)
  • Software Engineer working on AI features
  • Automation Developer

Who This Program Is For
